HowDidWeDo.ca has a simple solution: just hand out these business cards to every customer – and ask them: “Would you mind leaving us some feedback? How did we do?”
The link from the card (or the QR code) will bring your customer to a feedback page. You can select how you want your customers to answer “How Did We Do?” – maybe a simple thumbs up/down, or smileys.
You can also use a star rating + text box, which can serve as a testimonial.
Now what happens when someone completes that form?
You Don’t Have To Use A Card
Don’t like the idea of handing out business cards, or is it just not practical in your line of business? You can start the review funnel in other ways as well, of course:
- You can also just email your customer the howdidwedo.ca/yourcompany review link
- Kiosk-style (on a tablet, for instance): you can ask people to check in with their name and email address; our system will send them an email request.
- You can upload a CSV file with multiple customers’ information; our system will send them an email request.
If our system sends them an email with a feedback request, it will also send out 2 reminders if people don’t respond to that initial request – one after 3 days, and the final one after 7 days. These reminders will not be sent if people respond by clicking on the link. This systematic approach should lead to a higher response rate, with more testimonials and reviews.
